The REstart Program would not exist without an array of dedicated volunteers and contributors who make each class successful.
The Board of Directors are responsible for the planning and logistics, preparing the class schedules, interviewing students, securing the host properties, raising funds, selecting the coaches, and managing the program from beginning to end.
The Community Partners recommend every student accepted by REstart. They provide the essential needs for housing and food. The counselors do a tremendous job of presenting hope and resources, to end homelessness.
As part of the REstart journey, every student is partnered with a dedicated volunteer Coach. These coaches are industry professionals who commit to assisting their students for one year, to help them through the program and thereafter. Coaches offer their industry experience, business wisdom and enthusiasm to encourage students to succeed!
The internship host sites are provided by local apartment communities, commercial, and office properties. American Assets Trust, Con-Am, Pacific Coast Commercial, R.A. Snyder, Sares-Regis, and numerous other investment and management companies host the students during their internship period. These companies add tremendous support to REstart, by providing the on-site training, development and networking opportunities that enable students to get a running start into a real estate career.
